JORGE MENDOZA · FOR ROBLA BOARD OF EDUCATION
I am running for the Robla Board of Education because every child deserves a safe campus, a strong academic foundation, and adults who make decisions with their future in mind.
Prepared
Student-centered
Transparent
Accessible
Practical leadership focused on safety, learning, family trust, and the future students deserve.
OUR PRIORITIES
A clear focus on safety, learning, family trust, educator support, responsible stewardship, and partnerships that expand opportunity.
Clear communication, accessible board leadership, and genuine partnership with parents, guardians, and caregivers.
Early literacy, math confidence, creativity, and the support students need to enter middle school ready to thrive.
Safe, welcoming campuses, strong staff morale, transparent decisions, and a district culture rooted in pride.
Partnerships with local organizations, businesses, colleges, and public agencies that bring resources and opportunity to students.
CHILDREN AT THE CENTER
Families care about whether children are safe, learning to read, building math confidence, receiving the right support, and being prepared for what comes next. Those everyday concerns should guide the work of the Board of Education.

MEET JORGE
I am a product of public schools, a former English learner, and a member of a family filled with educators and school employees. My experiences taught me that the right teacher, the right support, and a school that believes in a child can change the direction of a life.
Public education opened doors in my life. Every Robla child deserves that same opportunity.Read Jorge’s Story
A CAMPAIGN BUILT AROUND READING
Literacy is the foundation for every subject and every future opportunity. Jorge’s free book drives help children build home libraries, discover stories they love, and see reading as something joyful.

ACCOUNTABLE LEADERSHIP
It is where decisions are made that affect children today and shape Robla for future generations. Board members should come prepared, ask thoughtful questions, listen to families and staff, and exercise sound judgment—not simply approve what is placed in front of them.
ABOUT ROBLA
Robla’s story begins with a twelve-student school in 1896 and continues today through five neighborhood elementary schools, a preschool, and generations of families who believe in their community.
